Dass das House of Flames Munich immer wieder exklusive Umbauten hervorbringt hat sich mittlerweile herumgesprochen.
Doch was machen die Münchner, wenn sie ein Bike nach eigenen Vorstellungen fertigen können, ohne auf den Geschmack des Auftraggebers achten zu müssen? Sie bauen Motorräder wie die “La Malicia“!

Hier wurde ein Fahrzeug aufgebaut, ohne auf die Kosten zu achten, tief, breit, brutal und – natürlich – schwarz!

Als Basis diente eine 2008er Fatboy, von der jedoch nur Rahmen, Gabel und Motor übrig blieben. Das Frontend wurde mit einem HPU-Dragstyle Lenker bestückt und komplett matt schwarz beschichtet.

Um das Fahrwerk wieder aufzurüsten wurden bei HPU in Ulm die Gotham-Räder samt Pulley und Bremsanlage, der 55mm Versatzkit und die wohl exklusivste Schwinge geordert, die man für Geld kaufen kann: eine mittels CNC-Technik aus dem Vollen gefräste Aluminium Einarmschwinge. Natürlich in matt schwarz.
Auf der 10,5“ breiten 18“ Felge wurde ein 300er Metzeler Reifen aufgezogen.
Die Besonderheit liegt hier in der absoluten Mittigkeit des Rades im Fahrwerk, was ein gutes Handling garantiert.

Heckteil, Tank und Front Fender wurden auf den Münchner Werkbänken angefertigt und überarbeitet. Bei einem solchen Umbau darf ein Legend Air System auf keinen Fall fehlen, dessen Einsatz beim Stop vor dem Strassencafe immer wieder für staunende Blicke sorgt.

Nachdem die Arbeiten am Fahrwerk abgeschlossen waren wurde der Motor noch mit einem Forcewinder Luftfilter und einer Kess Tech Auspuffanlage bestückt, welche durch Ihre gekürzten Krümmer extrem knackig daherkommt und vor allem einen freien Blick auf das mächtige Hinterrad erlaubt.

Kleine Details wie der im Tank eingelassenen Motogadget-Tacho, die diversen Zierkappen aus der Harley-Davidson PAM-Kollektion sowie nicht zuletzt der hochwertige Custom-Seat von Armin Dobstetter / Custom Leather runden das Bike ab.

Alles in Allem ein fahrbares Showbike, das schlicht und brutal zugleich ist und welches den Zahn der Zeit trifft, denn die Ära der breiten Reifen ist noch lange nicht vorbei!
